Adult IOP for Mental & Behavioral Health Tailored to Your Goals

As a boutique, founder-led clinic, SpringSource provides thoughtful, high-quality care that fits into your life and meets your individual needs. We get to know you, so we can customize your treatment plan, elevate your strengths, and support your whole self.

The SpringSource Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) is designed to make healing attainable, delivering structured, evidence-based treatment for a range of concerns, including eating disorders, depression, mood disorders, anxiety, trauma, and OCD. We know from decades of experience that there is always hope, and we will be dedicated to your recovery.

We’ll collaborate with you at each step, ensuring your goals are prioritized and deciding together how best to achieve them.

Attend sessions in-person at our Chicago or Northbrook locations, hybrid (both in-person and virtual), or virtual-only throughout Illinois. Evening and weekend appointments are available. This program is in-network with Blue Cross Blue Shield and Cigna.

If you need more than weekly therapy, but do not require—or are not ready for—hospitalization, then an IOP may be a fit. To learn more and explore possible next steps, simply fill out our contact form or book a free consultation. Our team will be happy to help you understand your options.

Personalized Care for Young, Mid, or Older Adults

This program provides structured, evidence-based treatment to support lasting recovery for people struggling with eating disorders, depression, anxiety, mood disorders, self-image and identity issues, relationship challenges, grief, life transitions, or pressures of adult life, such as career strain, divorce, parenthood, caregiving, loneliness, or health changes,

We use a developmental, relational approach grounded in research which shows that mental health is shaped by the quality of our relationships with ourselves, others, and the world around us.

Participants learn to:

  • Manage conflict
  • Improve communication and interpersonal effectiveness
  • Build appropriate vulnerability and connection
  • Make thoughtful, values-aligned decisions
  • Navigate life transitions with clarity and confidence
  • Develop healthier relationships with food, habits, work, and daily life

Our transdiagnostic approach focuses on the underlying patterns that keep people stuck, rather than treating each diagnosis in isolation. This allows for flexible, whole-person care that meets you where you are and supports meaningful change.
